WORKERS at a Barnsley security firm have travelled to London today to find out if they have won a prestigious national award.
Active Response Security, based on Mount Osborne Business Park, has been shortlisted for a Security Excellence Award and will find out at an awards dinner at the Hilton Hotel in London tonight if it has won.
Company spokesman Lynsey Morris said: "It's quite an achievement for us as we are up against some really big companies.
"It would be great if a Barnsley company could win it."
