Locals Urged To Donate Old Bras
Wednesday October 10 2012
A LOCAL pub is collecting old lingerie to raise money for charity.
The Angler's Rest in Wombwell has set up a bra bin for people to leave unwanted bras to help raise money for Breast Cancer Research.
The bras are sent for recycling and reuse in Africa, where lingerie is too expensive to produce.
The environmentally friendly pub is also a collection point for printer and toner cartridges, mobile phones and even take batteries to a recycle point for its customers.
