Six New Stagecoach Buses Launched For Barnsley

A FLEET of six new Stagecoach buses costing £700,000 have taken to the road in Barnsley.

The single decker Townlines-branded buses will run the Barnsley – Wakefield Road – Mapplewell – Staincross services.

The buses have low entry and wide gangways to make it easier for passengers in wheelchairs or those travelling with buggies.

i bet none of these buses will be used to transport commuters to darfield ' 'darfield has worst bus coverage ever ' bet these new additions will be used for wombwell journeys already one every two minutes for there ' its a joke ' brink back yorkshire traction!!

It says they're going to be for the mapplewell/staincross journeys. They only get the smaller buses despite being a zone 2 journey. What I'd like to know is how much those bloody wifi buses on the 66 route cost us! It's always nice to see where our fares are going!

Last time I checked - it was the company that bought the buses, not the customers - and what a company does with the money it earns is upto the company

Think we all need new buses tbh, i was on one other day, what caught fire outside Darfield Foulstone, n i agree with Stephen there should be more buses in Darfield.

firstly read the side of the bus at the bottom, it say's Yorkshire Traction so how can they fetch it back, second i hear that there are some new buses that are going onto the X19 run and that is also going to can an extra run so there will be one every half hour. so thats 8 buses an hour through Darfield so whats the problem with that,

why is,nt there any buses going down huddersfield road theres the 97 wakefield bus by tates and thats every two hours
