Parking Permit Scheme Added To Three Town Centre Streets
Thursday September 27 2012
A PARKING permit scheme has been launched on three town centre streets to help solve what residents call a parking nightmare.
Western Street, Vernon Street and Victoria Street will now offer parking for permit holding residents only between 8am and 6pm from Monday to Saturday.
Permits for Western Street, Vernon Street and Victoria Street are the final stage of the council’s controlled residents’ parking scheme, and follows enforcement on residential streets around Barnsley Hospital and Honeywell.
