Police Name Wath Shooting Victim

POLICE have named the man who was shot in Wath last week.
Tyrone Woodhead, 42, remains in hospital in life-threatening condition after the attack which happened on Doncaster Road, Wath-upon-Dearne, on Thursday night.
Tyrone sustained a single gun shot wound to his upper body.
The police have reported that a fire was reported to emergency services at 4.35am Monday morning at the back the property where the shooting took place.
A spokesman said: "Police are not linking the fire to the shooting, although the cause of the fire is thought to be suspicious and is being investigated."
The road has now been open but the scene remains cordoned off.
