Trapped Motorists Freed By Fire Service

FIRE crews used cutting gear to remove the door off one vehicle and the roof of another to free the motorists trapped inside.
The crews rushed to the M1 earlier today after a serious accident at Junction 35a - which is thought to involve seven cars.
A fire service spokesman said: "We used cutting gear to cut a door off one of the vehicles and the roof off another. Three casualties were taken to hospital by ambulance."
