THE popular continental street market has returned to Barnsley.

The market will run from Wednesday (September 26) to Saturday (September 29) and will feature specialist traders from France, Italy, Germany, Poland, Spain, Peru and even Nepal.

the continental market brightens barnsley up .but when me and my partner walked round it today everthing was over priced and expensive the polish beer tent £2.00 for a half of polish beer £350 for a pint of larger the sweet and bread stalls the same over priced we ended up buying nothing from the stalls and did our shoping in the market and morisons ???? if the ppl run ing it want it to do well they need to look at prices as its all cheaper in other shops if you look ?? the indoor market has to compete and does sell good foods fish meats bread and clothing and lots more

well I dropped on the market today not knowing it was on, and the stalls selling clothing 12 pound for a beautiful wool look effect coat , and another coat 12 pound and unusual tops opposite boots amazing value, go see for yourself and enjoy, the jewellery stall with amber on unusual too,and the stall near allambra cooking up a delightful aroma in a wok or too, might tempt you too
