Work On Hoyland Dentist Begins

WORK has begun on converting the former Porter's Pub at Hoyland into a new dental surgery.

Nationwide Healthcare Ltd will run four surgeries in the converted building which will occupy the ground floor only.

Stand by for the moans about Hoyland being ruined & full of nothing but GPs & Dentists. Before they come i'll counter that by reminding everyone that Hoyland has - a butcher, cafe's, fruit & veg shops, pet shop, bakeries, hairdressers, barbers, carpet & bed shop, vet's, takeaways, clothes shops, charity shops, hardware store, shoe shop, betting shops, frozen food shop, off-license, supermarket, newsagent, 3 banks, a market, post office, 3 pharmacies including one that is open 7.30 am to 10pm, and a funeral director. Have I missed anything?
