Thursday August 16 2012

A POLICING operation is underway in Barnsley Town Centre with some of the town's pubs cordoned off.

Police cordons appeared overnight outside Chambers and Voudou on Wellington Street and Pitt Street.

A police spokesman said more information will be forthcoming when the operation was finished.

She added: "Police activity is currently taking place in Barnsley town centre, this is part of an ongoing police operation.

"Police reassure the public that there is no threat to safety and to go about their business as normal."

We will find out in due course from the police. They should investigate the prices £9.00 for 2 bottles of beer in Voudou recently thats a bit steep.
