PLANNERS have given the go ahead for houses to be built on the site of a Staincross pub.
Mason Building Contractors Ltd have been given permission develop the Masons Arms pub, on New Road.
A block of three town houses put on the site.
The pub was put up for sale on a freehold basis by owner Admiral Taverns with a guide price of £180,000, but failed to attract new owners.
