ARTWORK by Labour’s Parliamentary candidate for Penistone and Stocksbridge, Marie Tidball, has been put on display.
The display at Belle Visage is part of the Penistone Arts Week trail – which ended yesterday – and other shops across the town include artworks from other local artists.
Marie said: “I’m so honoured to have my work displayed alongside lots of talented local artists. It is a particular pleasure to have it on display at Belle Visage, as I went to school with the co-owner, Vanessa Rutkowski.
“Events like Penistone Arts Week are not only a great showcase for local artists but they also bring more visitors into the town, support local businesses and the high street.
Vanessa added: “We like to take part in community activities and we’re delighted to be part of the week.
“We’re really pleased with the pictures displayed, they look lovely.”
